The word seems harmless enough. Be patient.
Yes, I understand: wait, pause, be still, hold your breath, take in a few deep ones, close your eyes for a sec, now let it out. Yes, that is all part of patience. But, man, it is still so difficult. So many things to be patient about...especially if you're an intense person. Yes, be patient: pray, meditate, go for a walk, take in another deep breath and let it out again, ponder, listen, and be still...again.
Patience is the teacher and I'm the student.
Much to learn - much to learn.

as long as you're being patient, grab a bunch of measuring sticks and make a bonfire. then decorate little marshmallow men and burn them at the stake...or just roast them.
Intriguing. Makes me wonder what it currently refers to. I'd have guessed the DMV maybe, but 5 minutes is a world record not a patience trial.
It actually wasn't about anything specific...I just felt the thought really strongly at work after listening to a friend talk about how things were going for her, and so I typed it up.
hehe, nice.
but what if i'm stressed by having no money for buying marshmallows?
Becky! you don't have to listen to her! listen to me!! I'll tell you all my problems and loses.. enjoy!
I really like this one. I think it is expressed well and very applicable to everyone. Julissa says she prays every night for God to fill up her patience tank again with a bit extra for the next morning (to take care of her three kids alone). Anyway, Bex, I like your words, but mostly i like you. :) -rach
